Dear Katie, Taryn, Dave, Christine, and Carla:

It was an absolute pleasure meeting and speaking with each and every one of you yesterday about the Senior Community Manager role and life at Patreon.

Aside from how amazing this role sounds and how jazzed I’d be to have the honor of taking it on, what truly stood out to me was how much genuine positive energy every single one of you brought.

From the moment I stepped in and was asked “Heelys or Razor” (my vote is Moon Shoes!), I knew it was going to be an afternoon of delightful conversations. Thank you for putting me at ease from the get-go, and giving me the space where I felt like I could truly be myself and have the jitters dissolved so that I could focus on effectively communicating what I’d bring to this role.

I know the team has a difficult decision to make soon, but no matter which way you go - even though I’m hoping that the compass is pointing (Van) West! - I hope that our paths will cross again soon.
